Toby acted in many productions at his school in Oxfordshire, Abingdon School, where he was a contemporary of the four members of the band Radiohead, whose music was used in Vanilla Sky (2001).
Son of Freddie Jones, the British character actor who has appeared in many films including The Elephant Man (1980). Brother of Rupert Jones the director and Caspar Jones the actor.

Currently starring on Broadway with Sean Foley & Hamish McColl in "The Play What I Wrote". [2003]
He was awarded the 2002 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role of 2001 for his performance in "The Play What I Wrote" at the Wyndham Theatre, London.
